What’s in Store for You in DDA Housing Scheme 2018?

The sense of home ownership is being missed by many residing in the capital city Delhi despite people have been here for long. Call it the surging property rates or the not so good facilities in the vicinity, most Delhiites are still searching for a dream home to offset the financial and emotional turmoil they have been going through.

The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has been constantly trying to instill the sense of home ownership in them by launching its housing scheme from time to time. The DDA Housing Scheme 2018 is thus a new development likely to take place anywhere in December this year.

As Much as 21,000 Flats to be Put on Sale

The DDA is going to put around 20,980 flats on sale in its housing scheme 2018. You can choose from Janata, Low Income Group (LIG), Middle Income Group (MIG) and High Income Group (HIG) flats as per your budget and comfort. LIG flats top the list with 16,298 units, followed by Janata, MIG and HIG with 3622, 579 and 488 units, respectively.




Where are These Flats Going to be?

The flats are most likely to be located in Vasant Kunj, Siraspur, Narela, Dwarka, etc. Before booking a flat, one does want to be assured of the basic facilities such as schools and hospitals. Let’s check out the facilities across these locations.

Vasant Kunj

As an important part of South Delhi, Vasant Kunj area is a dream place to be in. There’s no scarcity of schools or other educational institutions with names like Blue Note Music School, Bloom Public School, Ryan International School, etc. There are reputed healthcare centres such as Fortis, Indian Spinal Injuries Centre, etc, where you can go to get your health checked.

Siraspur

Located on the GT Karnal Road, Siraspur is surrounded by schools such as Panacea National Public School, HPR Public School, S.B. Global School, Kangaroo Kids, etc. There are hospitals such as New Life Hospital and Research Centre Private Limited, Janta Clinic, etc, in Siraspur.

Narela

Narela, closely located to Rohini, is a home of both Hindi and English medium schools. If there are Hindi medium schools such as Sarvodaya Bal Vidyalaya, Rajkiya Pratibha Vikas Vidyalaya, there are National Public School and Kasturi Ram International School for those seeking education in English medium.

Dwarka

Schools such as Delhi Public School, JM International School, Bal Bhavan International School, etc. There are Fortis Hospital, Kidney Hospital & Stone Centre, Pearl Hospital, etc.

Estimated Price of DDA Flats

The prices of the flats are going to be in the range of 7.5 lakhs to 62.42 lakhs. The cost of Janta, LIG, MIG and HIG units are estimated to be ₹7.5 lakhs, ₹32.18 lakhs, ₹46.08 lakhs and 62.42 lakhs, respectively.




How Can You Apply for DDA Flats Housing Scheme 2018?

You can get the application brochure at banks such as State Bank of India (SBI), Bank of Baroda (BoB), ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Yes Bank, Canara Bank, Central Bank of India and IDBI Bank. The brochure would also be available on the website of DDA.
